Low Income Children

Sabre City Trailer Park

Antelope Springs Church facilitates this long time monthly kids outreach. Fun games, crafts, memory verses and a Bible message are a part of this great outreach.

Sunset Park Apts.

Lighthouse Church leads a very successful VBS-style outreach in South Sacramento, reaching out monthly to 30-40 very motivated and excited children at this affordable housing complex sharing God's word and having some fun too.

Ridgestone Apts.

Valley Hi Covenant leads this outreach for both children and parents bi-monthly in South Sacramento.

Greenhouse Program

Youth and Adults from The River Church lead quarterly outreach for about 40 children in the Greenhouse Afterschool Program with fun games, crafts, singing and sharing the gospel. The Greenhouse is a Christian program located in Natomas.

Dixon Migrant Camp

Discovery Church will lead this summer children’s outreach for second year in a row which includes homework help and movie nights.

Homeless

North Sacramento Homeless

Volunteers from the River Church and Bayside partner with other area congregations to distribute survival supplies to over 200 homeless men and women each month.

Volunteers Of America (VOA) Winter Shelter

Several CVN partner churches lead bi-weekly church services for very appreciative shelter residents. They serve dessert, Starbucks coffee, lead worship and share God’s word with up to 160 residents of this overnight shelter during the Fall/Winter season.

Yolo Wayfarer Center Homeless Mission

Discovery Church leads a church service one of our newest outreaches at this Woodland homeless shelter.

Union Gospel Homeless Mission

A strong team of 12 CVN volunteers lead a monthly church service for an average of 120 homeless men and women before their nightly meal.

Bannon Street Shelter

This new outreach begins in August. Volunteers from the River Church, Bayside and Skyline Christian Center will serve meals and lead church services for the residents at this homeless shelter.

Convalescent and Mentally Ill

Norwood Pines Convalescent

Teams from The River Church and Skyline Christian Center faithfully serve leading bi-monthly church services at this Alzheimer's facility including worship and sharing the gospel to an average of 45 attendees.

Fountainwood Assisted Living

Dedicated volunteers from Bayside Church and Oak Free Methodist church lead twice monthly church services at this site.

Cypress Gardens

Volunteers from Bayside Church, Oak Avenue Free Methodist Church and Western Seminary help facilitate the bi-monthly services to 20-30 residents at this Alzheimer’s facility in Citrus Heights.

Roseville Convalescent

This is another long standing service lead by Bayside and Bayside W. Roseville volunteers for a large group of residents at this facility.

Fair Oaks Estates Assisted Living

Bayside volunteers lead a twice monthly Bible study and church service for this small but committed group of seniors.

Robertson's Adult Day Health

Volunteers from CVN facilitates a bi-monthly church service for the very eager and spiritual participants. Robertson’s Adult Day Health is a facility that serves disabled adults during the weekdays.

Crestwood Manor Psychiatric Home

CVN leads this long-term ministry site, where 20-30 residents at this locked adult mental health facility attend our monthly services.

Special Holiday Services

The River Church Community Christmas Party

A Christmas party for over 50 low-income kids in Natomas. Breakfast, crafts, singing, the Christmas Story, gifts and bikes for all!

Adopt-A-Family Thanksgiving

CVN volunteers from the River Church annually provide full Thanksgiving meal baskets to over 40 families of the Greenhouse Afterschool Program.
